June was a pathetic month. Not that I ran out of things to read. I still have my pile by Kanji PC, as you can see. And loads more in ebook format.

I cooked a lot last month. It really wipes me out and I don't get to read as much in bed before falling asleep. Also, I used to read during lunch break and during the commute to and from the office.

I'm not making excuses. ;p I'm just saying that's part of what happened. Hehehe.

May was a great month for my reading. I was already at a good pace during the first half of the month, and it upped during the second half after I left the office and still hadn't decided what I wanted to do.

I have to finalize and get used to a new routine, I guess, so I can balance things out again. Expecting another adjustment for August, though, but that's something I'm excited about. :D

I can't blame my hormones solely for all this thinking and being so emotional? hormotional? lately. To start off, I do end up thinking too much. So much so that the radio ad where the guy gets praning that the girl hasn't texted him after 3 hours, and when she does he overthinks what's in or not in the message, makes me laugh most of the time.

"It's her! Pero walang smiley! Waahhh! Ice cream."

I am aware I do it. And my sisters and some friends are subjected to it. Hahaha. Sometimes you just need someone to put up what you throw at them back in your face to calm you down. Even if it isn't always the last time you will be talking about it.

Add to that my OCPness. Hating it when things feel like they're out of my control. I know that I can't control everything, but there are times you can't help how you are. I know, I know... it's doubly distressing that you can't even control *yourself*. Ironic.

Trying to make light of what the hell was up with me last night... I couldn't sleep. Had too many thoughts in my head about... *everything*. Him; what I am and am not doing for work; my mortality, my family's, and of people I know and the people they care about (I'm a bit overwhelmed with the number of people I care about who are in the midst of family illness, all in the past month or so); and how I'm not good at dealing with this. I may come off as cold and heartless. But I just don't really know what to say or do.

After a day or two of carrying around that heavy feeling in my heart that hurt and couldn't understand, last night finally made me cry. I felt tired and drained. It's the paralyzing fear. Fear of loss, fear of rejection, fear of being hurt yet again, that you hold back and the loss of control distresses you. It's not even just to the point of harmless holding back, and sometimes you already consciously or unconsciously push people away. You yourself sabotage your relationships. Fear can do that. It's like you've forgotten how to let yourself just be happy.

And now that I've gotten this all down... I feel a bit calmed down. Will this be the last time I write about this or talk about this with another person? Probably not. This isn't even the first time I've written about this. Hurrah for being able to lock more specific LiveJournal posts. Hahaha. This is written with everything in general in mind, so I think I'll share.

And, 'sides, isn't this just part of my thinking too much? It's just a vicious cycle. Hehehe.


P.S. But, yeah, currently I am so-so and happy with where I am. I just need to deal with what's in front of me, and not get ahead of myself. One day at a time.
P.P.S. And I had a good look at this again last night--"Coffee addict, procrastinates, loves a lot, hurts a lot, idealist. Critical, stubborn, thoughtful, considerate, loyal." Description still stands. :)

...and I've managed to finish only two books this month. Waahhh! @___@
